1922 - 2015
1922, 8th October: Born to the family of Pa David Oyun (alias Baba Egbe) and Sarah Dada

1940: Obtained his Standard Six Certificate

1941: Began his teaching career with his employment by the Sudan Interior Mission (SIM) as pupil-teacher.

1941-1952: Taught at various schools in places like Egbe Ponyan Ogbe and Ejiba.

1952: Married his late wife Mrs. Alice Abosede Oyun (nee Sanni)

1953: Admitted to the then Institute of Commerce Ibadan for an Advanced Certificate Course.

1955: Attended an Executive Course in Accounting at the Institute of Administration Zaria.

1956: Began his career at the Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) as Senior Accounts Clerk at its Ilorin station.

1968-1969: Completed Advanced Management Course at the Institute of Administration (Congo Campus) Ahmadu Bello University Zaria on in-service.

1984: Retired from Radio Kwara as Controller of Administration. He had earlier transferred his service from NBC, which later became Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN).

1988: Became Olukoro of Koro

1992: Lost his wife of 40 years, Mrs. Alice Abosede Oyun

1994: Crowned Oba and assumed the title of Olugboi III.

2012: Celebrated his 90th birthday

2012: Senator Simeon Ajibola commissioned a 200-seat multi-purpose Community Center completed by the Adegoke Princes and donated to the Koro Community in honor of Kabiyesi’s 90th birthday.

2015, 11th January: His Royal Highness Oba Adegoke Elijah Oyun, Olukoro of Koro, passed on to a glorious rest peacefully in his sleep at the age of 92.
